Background: In the 1960's, A.R. Bailey invented the 'Transmission Line' enclosure, which prevented emission of sound or interference all other enclosures allow. To allow full-range control below 30Hz required the line be at least 8 feet long, and designs to fold the line inside a floorstander entered the DIY arena in the 70's. Since the Millennium Nick Le Feuvre B.Eng took the best of these designs, and cured the outstanding problems: power capability, uneven and limited bass and equalisation without analogue tone controls or crossovers. The brilliant result, now including room correction, provides the only room-equalised truly full range (20hz-20khz) reference system that supplies virtually all sound from the one drive unit, without interference, echoes, loss of efficiency, and delivers awesome imaging. initially appearing through the internet and eBay, Resolution Loudspeakers Burst on the scene at Feb 2005 at the Bristol show surrounded by an advertising blitz and as much controversy as any product has ever caused. many audiophiles could not buy because they needed to use a tone controlling amp then, so the DSP room correction/equalizer was added Autumn 2005, and demonstrated Bristol 06 and Heathrow 06 to be correcting the most difficult rooms and treating visitors to the most precise referenced full-range imaging performance ever heard. Exhibitor's comments: We do say these are the world's best loudspeakers. We exhibit at Shows like this to prove it, and our show surveys/endorsements prove it ( http://www.worldsbestloudspeakers.com/Reviews/Endorsements/endorsements.html ). Everybody else is aiming at a market suitable for their compromised or obese systems, we aimed at eliminating interference and creating what Bailey dreamed of in the 1960's.  There is nothing this tight and even in the world. Just think about how convincing vocals would sound if the bassy plosives ("p" and "b" lip sounds) came from the same direction as everything else. just think about bass without echo. think about even fidelity and level in your room, without lots of untamed booms/ suck-outs and anomalies that all rooms suffer - cured. This is THE reference system the others have to compare to, that's why it is probably the most talked about hi-fi product on the internet. Nothing has polarised opinion like this, those that have nothing to lose (seasoned audiophiles searching for a 'chalk and cheese' improvement) love it, those that have everything to lose hate it (hi-fi industry including their magazine reviewers, boastful owners of more expensive kit).
